JMC Capital Group Joins Global Leaders at InvestHK’s Welcome Reception

Hong Kong, 20 June 2024 - JMC Capital Group was invited to attend the International and Mainland Companies Welcome Reception held by Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK). This is an important event to promote communication and cooperation between international and mainland companies and the Hong Kong government and industry.

The event was organized by InvestHK, the department of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government's with the aim of introducing Hong Kong's investment environment and incentives to companies from different countries and regions and providing opportunities for in-depth communication and exchanges between companies and representatives from the Hong Kong government and industry. Our Company is honored to attend this event and gain further insights into Hong Kong's business environment and market trends.

Speaking at the reception, The Chief Executive, Mr John Lee said that under the "one country, two systems" principle, Hong Kong has the distinctive advantage of enjoying strong support of the country and being closely connected to the world. The city is one of the most liberal and easiest places to do business in the world. In the latest World Competitiveness Yearbook 2024, Hong Kong's ranking jumped two places to fifth globally, and topped the world in "international trade" and "business legislation". Mr Lee said that Hong Kong plays important roles as a "super-connector" and a "super value-adder" between the Mainland and the rest of the world, serving as a two-way springboard for attracting overseas enterprises and for Mainland enterprises to "go global". Mr Lee said that Hong Kong warmly welcomes enterprises, talent, and investment to seize the unlimited opportunities offered by this vibrant international city.
